Acceptable Use & API License
The rules for using the Spearhead API and data: license scope, redistribution, scraping, rate limits, and attribution. Effective June 14, 2026.
These terms are published by Meridian Zero LLC (d/b/a Pegasus Three Sixty) and may be updated from time to time; the effective date is shown below. They are provided for general information and do not constitute legal advice. Questions: legal@pegasusthreesixty.com.
License grant
Subject to your subscription tier and the Terms of Service, Meridian Zero LLC (d/b/a Pegasus Three Sixty) grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access the Spearhead API and use the data for your own internal business purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Redistribution
The default is internal use only. Redistribution rights are an Enterprise feature.
You may not resell, republish, syndicate, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute the data, marks, intervals, or scorecards to any third party, or expose them through your own product or API, except under a written Enterprise redistribution license. Internal use by your own organization is permitted within your tier limits.
Attribution on the free tier
If you use the free Research tier, any internal display or permitted use of the data must carry visible attribution to Spearhead by Meridian Zero LLC (d/b/a Pegasus Three Sixty), including the methodology version and the illustrative / backtest label where shown. Removing or obscuring attribution or provenance labels is not permitted.
No scraping or circumvention
- Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download the website or any endpoint outside the documented API and your tier limits.
- Do not circumvent, disable, or interfere with authentication, rate limiting, metering, or any security or access control.
- Do not share, pool, or resell API keys, or create accounts to evade tier limits.
- Do not reverse engineer the methodology, models, or software except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
Rate limits
Each tier has a published request-per-minute limit. You must stay within your limit and handle 429 responses with reasonable backoff. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access that exceeds limits or degrades the Service for others. Limits may change with notice.
Prohibited uses
- Using the data to operate or feed an exchange, prediction market, brokerage, custody, or trading-execution service.
- Presenting illustrative / backtest figures as live, real-time, or executable prices, or stripping provenance and disclaimer labels.
- Using the Service in violation of applicable law, including securities and data-protection law, or to infringe third-party rights.
- Activity that compromises the integrity, security, or availability of the Service.
Enforcement and contact
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the Service and other users. Questions about permitted use, or to request an Enterprise redistribution license, contact legal@pegasusthreesixty.com.
